First is a logo I created for a comic book called spoony stories. I really liked this logo as it fitted so well with the illustrations inside the book, also created by me. The book has quite an 'Alice In Wonderland' feel to it and I think the logo with the hand written text and mushroom illustration is very complimentary.

Further development on my personal logo. This is a lot less busier than my last logo as I have removed the highlights and shading loosing the shiny glossy feel to this flat edge. I have lost the shadows set behind the logo and given it solid 3D as well as giving it a slight outline so it will work in black and white. I am still happy with the first but I definitely think this is a step forward.
A quick mock up of how my P.O.S (point of sales) display would look.  Overall I am happy with how it turned out and what I produced in a week. This would look better if it was actually made rather than a vector image because the textures of the cardboard and paper would add a bit of age almost.
The full label with text for the front and fold marks and glue tabs. The label was designed so that it is only glued in two places and wrapped around the box. I chose to do it this way so it follows the idea of the box that folds up to fit together without glue using minimal materials which was what I kept in mind when producing this.
Label I created for the back of the box. I am pleased with what I have produced but if I had a bit extra time or planned out my time a bit better I would of produced a design more similar to the era we were looking at. This design feels a bit blank.

First assignment of the second year. To work in a group of three rebranding a brand or item of our choice. My group decided to rebrand quaker granola. We decided after looking at the branding that we would go back to the era where quaker came from 1877. We came up with the idea of making a one of sales idea of selling a jar with the granola so consumers would have a nice jar to sit on their work top as opposed to a plastic bag or box. My input to this one week project was the above which is the template I created for a P.O.S (point of sales) display to carry the granola and jar in one easy carrier. This means easier to stack and carry also protecting the product which is essential.
